Point Defiance Zoo

This is Sarah!  We love to go to Point Defiance Zoo!  It is our favorite place in Tacoma Washington.  We used to live very close to it.

Craters

We decided to go to Craters of the Moon National Park on Saturday.  When we got there we found the roads into the park were still closed.  You could hike in but it was a 7 mile hike and all the caves were closed anyway.  We decided to drive up the highway and take our own hike on the lava.  It was challenging but fun.  We will go back when the park is open so we can climb in the lava tubes.

Arizona memories

We love living in Hailey Id.  It is beautiful and a wonderful community. This is Brent a Penny skiing Dollar Mt.  There is still quite a bit of snow around here.
Lovely isn't it?  But right about now at the end of winter we remember other warmer areas we have enjoyed:)
Arizona for instance! Interesting vegetation:)
The beautiful drive up to Mt. Lemon

McCormick Train Park in Phoenix!  That's Jake and Penny on the stage coach.
Swimming every day!
The best thing about it was that we had cute little visitors:)  This is my grandson Thomas.

Special Olympics

Penny and her friend Tiff! The Special Olympic athletes came to Woodside Elementary today and Penny even got to run with them. This was a fun event. The Olympics are being held in Sun Valley this year which is just a few minutes north of Hailey.

All the kids had blue and white hand made scarves! Yes, Penny is in there:)

Home again

It's nice to be appreciated! Theses posters were waiting for me when I got home from helping with the new baby in Washington. I am grateful everyone sacrificed so I could go. Thanks to Dad, Brent, Sarah, Jake and Penny who ran the house for me while I was gone. Also a special thanks to Travis for giving me much valued buddy passes so I could afford to fly to Washington.
